While he will make his return in Grey’s Anatomy for an episode, Jesse Williams will soon be in the season 3 of the series Only Murders in the Building.
As revealed by Deadline, the actor will play a recurring character: a documentalist who takes a close interest in the new investigation of Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short).
The investigation in question will focus on the events that took place at the end of the second season. A year after the resolution of Bunny’s death, Mabel, Oliver and Charles reunite for the premiere of Oliver’s show. But the show will be short lived as Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), the lead actor in the play, dies at the curtain call. The ideal starting point for a new investigation of the unbeatable trio.
If we know that the character of Jesse Williams will be interested in the case, no details have filtered on the importance of his role in the resolution of it. Will he help Mabel, Charles and Olivier or will he come and put obstacles in their way? Answer in the next few months. In the meantime, the first two seasons are available on Hulu in the US.
