In addition to Olivia Rose Keegan, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series welcomes another well-known face of American soap-operas, Jacob Young. The actor, who appeared in General Hospital, revealed the information himself through one of his Instagram stories. In it, he said: “Great first day on High School Musical the Series.”
There are no further details about his role for the moment, so we don’t know if he will be involved in the production of the Beauty and the Beast musical that will be the focal point of the second season of High School Musical; The Musical: The Series. Jacob Young and Olivia Rose Keegan will not be the only ones joining the adventure as Roman Banks and Derek Hough were previously confirmed as cast members.
Season 2 will also welcome back Olivia Rodrigo (Nini), Joshua Bassett (Ricky), Matt Cornett (E.J.), Dara Renee (Kourtney), Larry Saperstein (Big Red), Julia Lester (Ashlyn), Frankie A. Rodriguez (Carlos), Sofia Wylie (Gina), Joe Serafini (Seb), Kate Reinders (Miss Jenn) and Mark St. Cyr (Mr. Mazzara). Until these new episodes are released, Disney+ will air a holiday-themed special on December 11th.
