Fry, Leela, and Bender are coming back to your screens. After a 10-year absence, Futurama has been resurrected for a new salvo of episodes. After a stint on Fox (1999-2003) and Comedy Central (2010-2013), the creation of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen will take up residence on Hulu/Disney+.

Season 11, which will debut on Hulu in the U.S. on July 24, will be enjoyed by newcomers, the streaming platform said in its press release. Early fans, meanwhile, will be rewarded for their patience with “payoffs to decades-long mysteries – including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy’s tadpoles.”

Futurama has always used current events to enrich the content of its scripts, and Season 11 will be no exception. Over the course of the 10 episodes that will make up the upcoming season, the Planet Express employees will face a new pandemic sweeping through the city, and the team will explore the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture and streaming.

The voice cast for the new season of Futurama is made up of the show’s historic actors and actresses. John DiMaggio voices the character of Bender, while Billy West voices Fry, Professor Farnsworth and Dr. Zoidberg. Katey Sagal voices Leela, Tress MacNeille voices Mom, Maurice LaMarche voices Kif, Lauren Tom voices Amy, Phil LaMarr voices Hermes, and David Herman voices Scruffy.
