On June 22, 2021, the witches of Motherland: Fort Salem will make their return on Freeform for a second season. As shown in the trailer it looks like it will be deadly.

Released this Monday, June 7, the trailer of Motherland: Fort Salem season 2 shows that all witches are in danger with the return of the Camarilla. The Camarilla, which appeared at the end of season 1, is an ancient group of witch hunters who are determined to eliminate what they see as a threat. To defeat it, and ensure their survival, the witches will have to ally with their enemy, the Spree, and become hunters themselves as suggested by Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams).

As for our heroines, Abigail and Raelle (Taylor Hickson) are promoted to the War College, where their powers, relationships, and beliefs will be pushed to the limits. Meanwhile, Tally (Jessica Sutton) must continues to cope with her new condition after giving up her youth to save General Alder (Lyne Renee). She will also be haunted all season by her connection to General Alder as she will start to remember Alder’s memories.
