There’s good news for Mike Colter fans: The actor from Evil will be reuniting with Robert and Michelle King in a new legal drama series called Cupertino. CBS has officially ordered a first season, which is set to air in 2026-2027.

It’s a David versus Goliath clash in the heart of Silicon Valley

As its title suggests, Cupertino is set in the heart of Silicon Valley, in the California city that is home to Apple’s headquarters. Presented as a legal thriller pitting “David against Goliath,” the series follows a lawyer, played by Mike Colter, who is betrayed by his former employer — a tech startup trying to strip him of his stock options.
Refusing to accept this, he teams up with a recently fired attorney to defend employees wronged by tech giants and take on Silicon Valley’s most powerful figures.

A long-awaited reunion with the Kings

Cupertino marks the reunion between Mike Colter and Robert and Michelle King. Mike Colter has previously collaborated with the duo on Evil, as well as The Good Wife and The Good Fight, in which he made several notable appearances.

Following his roles as a drug lord in The Good Wife and a priest confronted with the supernatural in Evil, Mike Colter is set to take on a new role for the Kings on CBS. Are you looking forward to seeing him in this new role? Let us know in the comments!
