On July 21, 2022, Crunchyroll will be in Hall 6A for a panel about its streaming service and will review the animes that have recently aired and those that have made it a success. But the most awaited Crunchryoll’s panel will take place the next day in Hall H.
Dragon Ball in the spotlight
On Friday, July 22, Crunchyroll will be doing a Q&A session dedicated to the anime movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Released in Japan on June 11th, the movie will be released on August 18th in the US.
In the meantime, Dragon Ball fans will be able to chat with members of the production team and voice actors. Expected to attend are executive producer Akio Iyoku, producer Norihiro Hayashida, Toshio Furukawa (voice of Piccolo in the original version) and Cristopher R. Sabat (voice of Piccolo in the English version).
To immerse the attendees of the San Diego Comic-Con in the universe of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, it will be possible to find a replica of Piccolo’s house on the Crunchyroll booth.
Several concerts for anime fans
In addition to its panels, Crunchyroll will be offering musical experiences on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Rady Shell in Jacobs Park.
On Friday, July 22, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., it will be possible to go to the “Crunchyroll-Hime Dance Party” which will be hosted by DJ Jun Inagawa as well as by the Japanese band Atarashii Gakko!
The evening of Saturday, July 23 will be dedicated to Dragon Ball with a symphonic concert with the San Diego Orchestra and Nicholas Buc, Australian conductor who is a regular of the genre.
