While the pre-production of Captain Marvel 2 has started, Deadline tells us that the film would have found the role of its main villain. According to the American media, Zawe Ashton would have been chosen for this important role.
The British actress is no stranger to the small and big screen. Jackson Brodie, Private Investigator, Not Safe for Work, Fresh Meat, Guerrilla, Wanderlust, Nocturnal Animals, Velvet Buzzsaw and Greta are some of the projects in which she has been seen.
No details have been revealed about the character she will embody. However, one thing is certain, she will star alongside Brie Larson (Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel), Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau) and newcomer Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel).
The film, directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman), is expected in movie theaters in November 2022.
