As expected, the casting announcements for Superman: Legacy continue following the end of the actors’ strike. After María Gabriela De Faría and Nicholas Hoult, it’s now the turn of model Sara Sampaio and actor Skyler Gisondo to be associated with James Gunn‘s feature film.
According to Deadline, Sara Sampaio will play Eve Teschmacher, Lex Luthor’s (Nicholas Hoult) assistant. This character is not from the comics, but was created by Richard Donner and Mario Puzo for the 1978 film Superman. Back then, actress Valerie Perrine played Eve Teschmacher.
For her part, Skyler Gisondo will play a well-known figure in the Superman universe, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Best known for his role in the series The Righteous Gemstones, he will play photographer Jimmy Olsen, colleague and friend of Clark Kent (David Corenswet) and Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan).
Expected in movie theaters in July 2025, Superman: Legacy will also star Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner/Green Lantern), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific) and Anthony Carrigan (Rex Mason/Metamorpho).
