Henry Cavill could be wearing the Superman costume again

Will Henry Cavill play Superman again in future DC Comics movies? That’s a possibility, according to Deadline‘s exclusive information.

According to U.S. media reports, the actor is in negotiations with Warner Bros. to return to the role he played in Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman and Justice League. This information contradicts the rumors about him leaving after the failure of the Justice League movie in 2017.

However, even if Superman’s comeback is made as part of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), it won’t take place as part of the Wonder Woman 84 and Suicide Squad movies. In a similar move, Warner Bros. is not considering a sequel to Man of Steel. According to Deadline, the child from Krypton could make appearances in Shazam 2, Black Adam or Aquaman 2. This means that we will have to be patient before we find out if Henry Cavill will be back as Superman since these projects have not even started shooting yet.
