This Sunday, February 26, 2023, the 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards were held in Los Angeles. A ceremony that held few surprises and confirmed the success of the film Everything Everywhere All at Once. The film, directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, won four awards, all of which it was nominated for.
The two categories in which the film was not nominated went to Brendan Fraser for his performance in The Whale and to the cast of Top Gun: Maverick for the movie’s stunts.
On the TV series side, Abbott Elementary was again honored with the award for Best Comedy, while The White Lotus was named Best Drama Series. The HBO anthology won a second award for Best Actress in a Drama Series, thanks to the performance of Jennifer Coolidge.
