On the road to the Holy Lands

Among the literary adaptations that will mark the world of the Big Screen in 2019, “Holy Lands” from  Amanda Sthers is already one of them. The french author and now director has decided to bring to the screen her novel ” Les terres saintes”, published by Stock.

“Did you know that in Israel people use pigs to pursue terrorists? First because they have an unusual flair, then because if a Muslim touches a pig, he is denied the seven virgins in paradise “, so begins the french back cover of Amanda Sterth‘s novel, “The Holy Lands”. Published by Stock, the novel is about to have a second life with its film adaptation on January 9th.

Author and director

Unlike many writers, Amanda Sterth has decided to take the lead by making herself the film from her book. Entitled “Holy Lands”, the writer was joined by a beautiful cast to put pictures on her words. Rosanna Arquette, James Caan and Jonathan Rhys Meyers were chosen to play the main characters of this epistolary novel.
