While his film Civil War will be released in April, Alex Garland is already working on his next one in collaboration with Ray Mendoza. The project, titled Warfare, will again be distributed by A24 and will feature an all-star cast.
As revealed by various American media outlets in recent weeks, Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza have called on Kit Connor (Heartstopper), Charles Melton (Riverdale), D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai (Reservation Dogs), Cosmo Jarvis (Shōgun), Will Poulter (Dopesick) and Finn Bennett (True Detective) to play some of the main characters. Joseph Quinn, recently announced for The Fantastic 4, has also been announced, according to Deadline.
The plot of the movie, as well as the roles of these actors, are being kept under wraps, but expectations for the film are high given A24’s reputation.
