Keanu Reeves should not be saying goodbye to John Wick soon. Following the successful launch of John Wick: Parabellum, the third movie of the saga that has gathered $92.2 million in a few days, the studio Lionsgate announced that they were not over with the former hitman.
A fourth film is already in preparation with a release date scheduled to May 21st, 2021 in the United States. At this time, the studio has not confirmed yet that Keanu Reeves would play the role of John Wick again, but there is little doubt about it as he is the hero of the saga. Chad Stahelski, director of the first three films, has not been confirmed either for the making of this fourth film which should be a direct sequel to Parabellum.
In the third opus, John Wick is excommunicated by the director of the Continental (Anjelica Huston) after breaking a fundamental rule: he killed inside the hotel itself. A $14 million warrant is set up against him and the killers of the Continental will do everything to pocket the bonus.
