Just weeks after making the fifth Descendants movie official and revealing the names of its first cast members, Disney+ has confirmed the return of four familiar faces for Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.
Fans of the franchise will once again see Melanie Paxson in the role of the Fairy Godmother, a character she has played in all of the Descendants films. Brandy, Rita Ora and Paolo Montalban, who were introduced in Descendants: The Rise of Red, will reprise their roles as Cinderella, the Queen of Hearts and Prince Charming.
Disney+ reports that with these four additions, the cast of Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is complete. In addition to the previously mentioned names, the cast of the fifth Descendants movie will include Kylie Cantrall (Red), Malia Baker (Chloe), Leonard Nam (Maddox Hatter), Liamani Segura (Pink, Red’s sister), Brendon Tremblay (Max, Maddox’s son), Kiara Romero (Hazel, Captain Hook’s daughter), Joel Oulette (Robbie, Robin Hood’s son), Zavien Garret (Felix, Dr. Facilier’s son) and finally, Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis (Squirmy and Squeaky Smee).
Directed by Kimy Gatewood (Girls5Eva), Descendants: Wicked Wonderland will follow Red and Chloe, the daughters of the Queen of Hearts and Cinderella, as they deal with the consequences of their time travel. The movie, which is currently filming, is expected to air on Disney+ and Disney Channel in 2026.
