The CW renews 7 of its series

As usual, The CW has renewed a large portion of its lineup for next season. According to Deadline, the American network has just given the green light for new seasons of The Flash, Walker, Riverdale, All American, Kung Fu, Superman & Lois and Nancy Drew.

With this renewal, The Flash, which will return for its ninth season, will be the longest-running series in the Arrowverse. As for All American, the series will return for a season 5 while Superman & Lois and Walker will begin their third season. Riverdale is renewed for a season 7, Kung Fu is renewed for a season 3 and Nancy Drew for a fourth season.

Other series are not yet assured to come back next season, the channel has not yet decided on their fate. It’s the case for 4400, launched in October, Naomi on air since January and All American: Homecoming (spin-off of All American) which has just started on the CW.

Series from the Arrowverse (Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman) are also on hold as are Dynasty, Charmed and Legacies.

Finally, the CW has also renewed TV shows such as Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion, which will return for their ninth season, and World’s Funniest Animals, which has been renewed for a third season.
