Sweet Tooth: Season 2 on Netflix in April

The wait is finally over. Nearly two years after we discovered the adorable Gus (Christian Convery) in the series Sweet Tooth, Netflix will once again allow us to follow the adventures of the young hydrid, half-boy, half-elf.

Adapted from Jeff Lemire‘s comics, the second season of Sweet Tooth will follow Gus as he and other hybrids are held captive by General Abbot (Neil Sandilands) and the Last Men. Desperate to consolidate power by finding a cure, Abbot uses the children as fodder for the experiments of Dr. Aditya Singh (Adeel Akhtar), who is also a prisoner and is searching for a way to save his infected wife, Rani (Aliza Vellani). To protect his friends, Gus agrees to help Dr. Singh, embarking on a dark journey into his origins and his mother Birdie’s (Amy Seimetz) role in the events leading up to The Great Crumble.

Meanwhile, Tommy Jepperd (Nonso Anozie) and Aimee Eden (Dania Ramirez) have decided to join forces to free the hybrids. But their partnership is put to the test when Jepperd’s secrets are revealed.

The 8-episode second season of Sweet Tooth will be available on Netflix from April 27, 2023. Along with the announcement, the platform shared previously unseen photos from the series on its social networks.
