On December 17 and 18, 2022, Paris welcomed (again) the cast of the series Stranger Things for the 6th edition of the Stranger Fan Meet. An event that revealed that the character of Dustin, very much appreciated by the fans, is also a favorite among the actors and actresses of the series.
When asked about the characters they would have liked to play or their favorite characters, the guests present often had the same answer: Dustin, played by Gaten Matarazzo. This character was also mentioned in other questions, always with good things to say about him.
To explain the attraction to this character, Priah Ferguson, who plays Erica in Stranger Things, says that Dustin is the heart of the show. She appreciates that despite his humorous side, he always has a plan in mind if needed. Gabriella Pizzolo, the actress playing Suzie, Dustin’s girlfriend, says she fell in love with the character, as did the fans, because he is funny, kind and loyal. Raphael Luce, the actor who plays young Henry Creel, agrees and particularly likes his intelligence and his humor. Mason Dye, who is also a fan of the character, praised the work done by Gaten Matarazzo.
