The little town of Hawkins will welcome 3 more characters during Stranger Things season 3 and we already know the actors who’re gonna be playing 2 of them.

Mayor Kline, a politician typical of the 80’s and who’s more concerned by his own image than by the people in his town, is gonna be portrayed by Cary Elwes. Just like Sean Astin, Cary Elwes is also an 80’s icon thanks to his role of Westley in Princess Bride. The movie is turning 30 this year and the Stranger Things crew probably wanted to use the enthusiasm surrounding this anniversary by giving a role to the British actor.

For the role of Bruce, a misogynistic journalist who use shady methods, the producers chose Jake Busey. Regular on sets since his early years, he is widely known for the part of Ace Levy in Starship Troopers. 20 years ago, he was part of the cast with Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, Denise Richards, Neil Patrick Harris and Seth Gilliam. More recentely, Jake Busey was seen on From Dusk Till Dawn and Freakish. This summer, he will be on The Predator, a sequel to the Predator of 1987.

For now, the search for the actress who’s gonna be playing Particia Brown, an old neighbor who loves to give advice to the children, is still ongoing.
