On May 27, the series Stranger Things will be back on Netflix with the first part of its fourth season. And the least we can say is that our heroes will not have time to rest.
Six months after the battle of Starcourt, a war is brewing against the Upside Down and a new villain will appear as revealed in the (dark) official trailer. This new monster, named Vecna as the Duffer brothers told IGN, is a tribute to the horror characters (Freddy Krueger, Pennywise or Pinhead) that terrified the creators of the series during their childhood. This is a good way to set the mood for the upcoming season 4.
During their interview with IGN, the Duffer brothers also said that the clock that we see several times in the trailer will play a major role in the upcoming episodes and add that it is not a good sign if you see it. A bad omen for Max (Sadie Sink), who is one of the people to see it as teased in the trailer.
Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Hopper (David Harbour), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve (Joe Keery), Robin (Maya Hawke), Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Erica (Priah Ferguson) will also have a role to play in this war that promises to be bloody against the Upside Down

The second part of the episodes of the fourth season will be available on Netflix from July 1, 2022. A fifth and final season has already been confirmed by the streaming giant.
