After announcing Jesse Williams in the casting of season 3 of Only Murders In The Building, another name, and not the least, joined the cast of the series carried by Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin.
In a video published by Selena Gomez on TikTok and taken over by the official account of the series, the actress who plays Mabel says that the new episodes are being filmed before making a small focus on her co-stars Martin Short, Steve Martin, Paul Rudd and Andrea Martin. It is then that Meryl Streep appears on screen to ensure that her colleagues are well seated.

No further details about Meryl Streep‘s role were revealed by the production but the information delighted fans of Only Murders In Building and of the three-time Oscar-winning actress.

In season 3, Mabel, Oliver and Charles reunite for the premiere of Oliver’s show one year after the resolution of Bunny’s murder. But the show is short-lived as Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), the lead actor in the play, dies as soon as the curtain rises. The starting point of a new investigation for our unlikely trio.
At the time of writing, no release date has been revealed by Hulu for this third season.
