FOX is confident in its animated series, and is proving it once again as the 2024-2025 season comes to a close. The American network has just announced the renewal of Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons and Family Guy for four more seasons, while also announcing the return of American Dad! to the network. This promises laugh-out-loud Sundays in Springfield, Quahog, Seymour’s Bay and Langley Falls through 2029.

With these renewals, The Simpsons will reach 40 seasons, cementing its status as the longest-running show in history, while Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers will reach 27 and 19 seasons, respectively. American Dad!, which has been on TBS since 2014 and will return to FOX in 2025, will reach 23 seasons in 2029.

For FOX President Michael Thorn, the pact “celebrates the eternal popularity of these iconic comedies” and praises a fruitful collaboration with the creators of these series and the voice actors who lend their voices to timeless characters.

Marci Proietto, head of 20th Television Animation, added: “We are so proud that these legendary shows will continue for hundreds of more episodes, allowing new and longstanding fans to watch, rewatch and experience more of ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Family Guy,’ ‘American Dad’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers’ for years to come.”
