A new musical series is coming soon to Disney+. According to a press release, Electric Bloom, which is currently airing on Disney Channel, will be available on the streaming platform in September. The first 13 episodes of season one will be available on September 17, 2025, and the remaining four episodes will be available starting October 15, 2025.
A series that combines music and friendship
The series tells the story of Electric Bloom, a pop trio that became a global phenomenon. Through flashbacks, Posey, Jade, and Tulip look back on how they met in high school, the challenges they faced, and the unbreakable bonds that unite them.
The cast includes Lumi Pollack as Posey, the perfectly put-together student, Carmen Sanchez as Jade, the school rebel, and Ruby Marino as the quirky and optimistic Tulip. Alongside them, Nathaniel Buescher plays Lucas, the class crush and band supporter.
The first season will also feature Dara Reneé (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) as herself and Maia Kealoha (Lilo & Stitch) as Kaia, while two familiar faces from Disney Channel will step behind the camera: Danielle Fishel (Boy Meets World) and Phill Lewis (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody).
A soundtrack by Diane Warren
Legendary songwriter and composer Diane Warren—a Grammy Award winner and 16-time Oscar nominee—serves as executive producer of the series and wrote most of its songs, including the theme song and all the tracks for the first episode.
A four-track EP is currently available on music streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. The complete soundtrack will be available on September 12 via Walt Disney Records.
