Korean culture will soon have its own convention in New York. LeftField Media has just announced the launch of KPEX (Korean Pop Culture Expo), a new event to be held May 29–31, 2027, at the Javits Center in New York. For three days, fans of K-Pop, K-Dramas, K-Comics, K-Games, K-Food, and K-Beauty will be able to come together for a program featuring meet-and-greets, activities, and new discoveries.
Celebrities, screenings, and concerts
Visitors will be able to meet their favorite artists and celebrities at meet-and-greets, panel discussions, and autograph sessions. The program will also include preview screenings, interactive workshops, and an area dedicated to shops and various on-site experiences.
Evenings will be devoted to concerts by artists from Seoul, allowing K-Pop fans in particular to enjoy a musical lineup right in the heart of the convention.
In total, more than 100 hours of events are planned over the three days of KPEX. The first guests will be announced this fall, and tickets will go on sale on September 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (ET).
