The Hulu show Catch 22 has been the center of attention lately. It’s understandable knowing that the producer and co-creator of the show, which is based on the eponymous novel, is none other than George Clooney. The mini-serie is gonna have 6 episodes and it’s practically assured to be a success. George Clooney was supposed to play the part of Colonel Cathcart, Capitain Yossarian’s superior.

However, it was announced that George Clooney wasn’t gonna play this role in the end. Why ? Because he wants to focus on his work behind the camera (not for gambling, even though he likes to gamble between takes). That’s why George Clooney chose to give his role to another actor who happens to be Kyle Chandler, previously seen on Bloodline and Friday Night Lights. It’s a wiser choice on George Clooney’s part.

You’ll still have the chance to see George Clooney make an appearance in the show as Lieutenant Scheisskopf. As well as George Clooney and Kyle Chandler, the actors Hugh Laurie, known for his role in Dr House and Christopher Abbott, who played in Girls, are gonna be part of the cast.

We’ll have to wait in order to watch the mini-serie on Hulu but, in light of the actual cast, we can already assume that the show is gonna be a huge success.
