After a group photo at the end of 2020, the instagram account of the Gossip Girl reboot has this time revealed the individual characters of this new version by highlighting their main traits.
As a reminder, this Gossip Girl reboot will take place eight years after the original website was shut down as a new generation of teens in New York City’s private schools are introduced to Gossip Girl’s social monitoring. The series will address the question of how much social media and the New York City landscape itself have changed over the past decade.
The new characters will be Julien Calloway (Jordan Alexander), Monet de Haan (Savannah Lee Smith), Luna La (Zion Moreno), Max Wolfe (Thomas Doherty), Audrey Hope (Emily Alyn Lind), Kate Keller (Tavi Gevinson), Otto “Obie” Bergmann IV (Eli Brown), Akeno “Aki” Menzies (Evan Mock) and Zoya Lott (Whitney Peak). They will respectively represent the influence, the power, the style, the freedom, the grace, the ambition, the privilege, the innocence and the perspective.
