Invited on Wednesday April 14 to the radio show “Culture Médias” on Europe 1, Thomas Anargyros, president of Mediawan Studios (the company that produces Call my agent) confirmed a sequel for the French series.
After a single episode in the form of a feature film which should be broadcast at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022 in France, the fiction of France 2 will return for a 5th season in the aftermath: “It’s going very well. The idea is that it (the feature film, editor’s note) will be produced this year, for a broadcast probably at the end of the year or early next year. And then we’re going to start a new season of Call my agent.”
The star agents will therefore be back after an end of season 4 that had left a taste of unfinished business to fans. Is it the broadcast on Netflix and the international success of the series that made the production change its mind? Maybe.
Carried by Camille Cottin (Andréa), Thibault de Montalembert (Mathias), Grégory Montel (Gabriel) or Liliane Rovère (Arlette) during 4 seasons, the concept of the series is to welcome, in each episode, one or more French or international stars to play their own role. Among the guests: Juliette Binoche, Jean Reno, Sigourney Weaver, Monica Bellucci, Jean Dujardin … no, less.
Now, we can’t wait to see what will be in store for us in this season 5 and which cast will be present.
