The anthology series Cabinet of Curiosities, produced by Guillermo Del Toro for Netflix, welcomes Rupert Grint in its cast. According to Deadline, the actor was followed by the director for many months because of his performance in the series Servant.
Mainly known to the general public as Ron in the Harry Potter saga, Rupert Grint joins an already very strong cast including Luke Roberts (Black Sails), Essie Davis (The White Princess), Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead), F. Murray Abraham (Homeland), Glynn Turman (Fargo), Ben Barnes (Shadow and Bone), Elpidia Carrillo (Mayans M.C.), Crispin Glover (American Gods), Demetrius Grosse (Frontier), David Hewlett (Stargate: Atlantis), Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Sebastian Roché (The Originals) and Peter Weller (Robocop).
The Cabinet of Curiosities series will be an eight-episodes anthology aimed to challenge our traditional notions of horror. The directors and writers of these stories will be personally chosen by Guillermo Del Toro. Among them are Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Kent and Vincenzo Natali.
