Harry Potter: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson reunited for the 20th anniversary of the first movie

2022 will start in the best way for the Potterheads. Indeed, HBO Max has revealed that the cast of the Harry Potter saga will reunite for a special show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Entitled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, this reunion will be broadcasted on January 1st, 2022 on the American platform.

For this occasion, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) will recall their memories of the saga from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.

The trio will not be the only ones to take part in this retrospective as Chris Columbus, director of the first two films, will also be there. As well as many members of the cast of the saga. HBO Max says in its release that Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Matthew Lewis (Neville Londubat), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Ian Hart (Professor Quirrell) will also make an appearance.

Like the reunion episode of Friends, this special program will be based on unpublished interviews and conversations between the actors and should reserve some surprises. In the meantime, to wait until January 1, 2022, HBO Max has unveiled a first teaser of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.
