After several months in development, the Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is revealing itself as its release date approaches. At New York Comic Con, HBO dedicated an entire panel to the series, where they presented the first trailer and announced the launch date.
Starting January 18, 2026, fans of the universe created by George R.R. Martin will be able to follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk), a young knight who is as brave as he is naive, and his squire, Egg. The unlikely but endearing pair travels through Westeros, a kingdom still ruled by the Targaryen line, at a time when dragons are still a recent memory.
Starring Peter Claffey (Bad Sisters) and Dexter Sol Ansell (Emmerdale Farm), the six-episode series will air every Sunday on HBO and HBO Max. The cast also includes Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen), Bertie Carvel (Dalgliesh), Danny Webb (Alien 3), Finn Bennett (True Detective), Edward Ashley (Masters of the Air), Shaun Thomas (Emmerdale Farm), Sam Spruell (Fargo), Tanzyn Crawford (Swift Street), Henry Ashton (My Lady Jane), Youssef Kerkour (Significant Other), Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (The Agency), and Daniel Monks (Kaos).
