The Brit Awards did something new for the 2022 edition, which was held on February 8 at the O2 Arena. The British ceremony proposed 4 new awards and removed the gendered categories making Adele the first to win the award for Artist of the Year. The singer also took home the award for Album of the Year for “30” and Song of the Year for “Easy On Me”.
Ed Sheeran, nominated in many categories, was awarded Songwriter of the Year while Little Simz was the Revelation of the Year. Olivia Rodrigo, honored as Woman of the Year by Billboard, was beaten by Billie Eilish in the Best International Artist category, but she still left with an award for Song of the Year for “Good 4U”.
Dua Lipa, Sam Fender and Silk Sonic are among the other winners. All the winners of the Brit Awards 2022:
