Netflix invites you to join them on February 14th for a romantic comedy that could well make the TOP 10 on their platform. Starring two familiar faces from the small screen, Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Players has all the elements that make this type of film so successful, as the trailer unveiled by the streaming giant confirms.
In Trish Sie’s feature film, we follow Mack (Gina Rodriguez), a New York sportswriter accustomed to creating “pick-up games” with her friends that lead to numerous one-night stands over the years. But the rules of the game are about to change when Mack falls for her latest target, war correspondent Nick (Tom Ellis). To help her cope, she can count on her loyal group of friends, starting with her best friend Adam (Damon Wayans Jr.).
Other familiar faces in the Players cast include Joel Courtney (The Kissing Booth), Marin Hinkle (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Augustus Prew (The Morning Show), Liza Koshy (Liza on Demand) and Ego Nwodim (Saturday Night Live).
