After starring in the romantic comedy Love Hard, Nina Dobrev will soon be back on Netflix for a new comedy. The actress, best known for her role in The Vampire Diaries, will star in The Out-Laws alongside Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect), Ellen Barkin (Animal Kingdom) and Pierce Brosnan (Tomorrow Never Dies).
Set to debut on the Netflix platform on July 7, 2023, the film from Tyler Spindel (The Wrong Missy) will follow Owen Browning (Adam Devine), an orderly bank manager who is about to marry Parker (Nina Dobrev), the love of his life. When his bank is robbed by the infamous “Phantom Bandits” the week of his wedding, he suspects his future in-laws (Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin), who have just arrived in town, of being the robbers.
With The Out-Laws coming soon to Netflix, the platform has unveiled a trailer that promises a healthy dose of action and humor. The reference to James Bond, played by Pierce Brosnan, was a big hit with viewers, as was the chemistry between Ellen Barkin and Pierce Brosnan.
The cast of The Out-Laws also includes Lauren Lapkus (Good Girls), Poorna Jagannathan (Never Have I Ever), Richard Kind (Spin City), Julie Hagerty (Malcolm) and Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy).
