« The Talisman » soon on Netflix

In collaboration with the Duffer brothers, Stephen King will produce the adaptation of “The Talisman” for Netflix. Co-written in 1984 with Peter Straub, the fantasy novel had been at the first place of the best sellers in the United States at the time.

Stephen King’s adaptations for the small or big screen are usually very awaited. This time, it is for “The Talisman”, co-written in 1984 with Peter Straub, to have a second life; a book of fantasy that had a huge success at the time of its release and that was entitled to a sequel in 2001, under the title “Black House”.

A fantasy land

It will be alongside the Duffer brothers who will be in charge of the script that Stephen King will produce the adaptation for Netflix. If no release date has been released for the moment, nor any name for the cast, things seem to be getting clearer. As a director, the public will find Mike Barker, who already directed “The Handmaid’s Tale”. The story will take viewers to the East Coast of the United States to follow Jack Sawyer, a 12-year-old teenager, who discovers the existence of another world, the Territories.
