Author Taylor Jenkins Reid is on a roll. After seeing her novel “Daisy Jones and the Six” turned into a series on the Prime Video platform, it’s another one of her works that’s being sought out by Netflix. The streaming giant has not yet release much information about the adaptation, other than the names of Liz Tigelaar as writer and Leslye Headland as director.

Renewed success with TikTok
The story of “The 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo”, published in 2019, has recently received renewed attention thanks to TikTok. There were so many posts about it on the social network that the novel spent no less than 120 weeks on the bestseller list. The story is sure to excite readers: at nearly 80 years old, Evelyn Hugo, a major movie star, decides to reveal the truth about her past life, including her many marriages. Journalist Monique Grant is the one who hears her words. And it was her words that launched her career. Since Taylor Jenkis Reid has several other books to her credit, it’s not unlikely that more movies will be made in the next few years…
