Les 10 et 11 décembre derniers, la National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences organisait la première édition des Children’s & Family Emmy Awards.
Pour cette première, les programmes de Netflix ont largement été plébiscités et repartent avec 15 prix. La série Heartstopper, renouvelée pour deux saisons en mai 2022, est la grande gagnante de la soirée et obtient 5 awards dont ceux de la meilleure série pour ado, du meilleur casting dans une série live action et de la meilleure performance dans une série pour l’interprétation de Kit Connor (Nick Nelson). Parmi les autres programmes de Netflix à repartir avec au moins un prix, nous pouvons citer The Baby-Sitters Club, Sweet Tooth, Hilda and the Mountain King et Centaurworld.
Disney+ est l’autre plateforme à tirer son épingle du jeu et engrange 13 awards durant la cérémonie notamment grâce à Sneakerella (4 prix), The Mysterious Benedict Society (2) et The Quest (2).
