La seconde édition des Children’s and Family Emmys, la cérémonie organisée par la National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, a livré son verdict concernant les meilleurs programmes familiaux et pour enfants de l’année écoulée.
A ce petit jeu, ce sont les séries Lost Ollie (Netflix) et Sesame Street (HBO Max/PBS Kids) qui s’en sortent le mieux avec cinq prix chacune. Elles sont suivies de près par la série d’animation Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (Disney Channel) puisque celle-ci repart avec quatre prix.
Côté acteurs, Tony Hale (The Mysterious Benedict Society), Adeel Akhtar (Sweet Tooth) et Mykal-Michelle Harris (Raven’s Home) ont tous été récompensés pour leurs performances. Il en est de même pour Eric Bauza (Bugs Bunny Builders), Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight) et Maria Nash (Pinecone & Pony) pour leurs prestations vocales. A noter que Peter Cullen a également été récompensé du Lifetime Achievement Award pour sa longue carrière en tant que comédien de doublage. Il est notamment connu pour avoir prêté sa voix au personnage d’Optimus Prime dans la série d’animation Transformers.
