Pour la seconde année, la National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences récompensera les programmes familiaux et pour enfants à l’occasion de la cérémonie des Children’s and Family Emmys. Une cérémonie dont la date n’est pas encore connue en raison de la grève touchant Hollywood mais dont les nominations sont dominées par Disney.
Pour l’édition 2023 des Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, le groupe aux grandes oreilles cumulent 93 nominations grâce à ses différentes chaînes et plateformes dont Disney+. Parmi les programmes représentés, nous retrouvons entre autres High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Santa Clauses, The Muppets Mayhem et Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Le podium est complété par Netflix (61 nominations) et Nickelodeon (30). Apple TV+, qui avait obtenu 17 nominations la première année, progresse pour cette seconde édition et se place au pied du podium avec 27 nominations aux Children’s & Family Emmy Awards 2023.
