The God of War series, developed by Prime Video and already guaranteed two seasons, continues to expand its cast. Four new actors have just been announced by the streaming platform to play several characters linked to the family of Thor (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) and the entourage of Odin (Mandy Patinkin).
Louis Cunningham (Marie Antoinette) will play Modi, the youngest son of Thor and Sif. With a gentle temperament and a particularly curious mind, Modi is passionate about puzzles and complex problems, to the point of sometimes forgetting the world around him.
Ben Chapple (Playing for Keeps) will play Magni, the eldest of the siblings. Charismatic and adventurous, this accomplished hunter leads a carefree life that is beginning to seem empty to him. Very protective of his brother Modi, Magni is now searching for a deeper purpose to his immortal existence.
Island Austin (I Can Only Imagine 2) will play Thrud, the youngest child of Thor and Sif. Curious, fearless, and eager to learn, she is kind-hearted and often tries to mediate within her family. Her grandfather Odin sees special potential in her, and the two share a special bond.
Finally, Evelyn Miller (Gangs of London) will play Gna, commander of Odin’s Valkyries. A formidable warrior, Gna is known for her unwavering loyalty to the ruler of Asgard, whom she serves with rigorous discipline, sometimes to the detriment of her own interests.
As a reminder, the God of War series will follow Kratos (Ryan Hurst) and his son Atreus (Callum Vinson) on a journey to scatter the ashes of Faye, Kratos’s late wife and Atreus’s mother. Throughout this journey, Kratos will try to teach his son how to become a better god, while Atreus will seek to help his father gradually become more human again.
