Good news for the fans of Sex Education: just one month after the release of season 2, the series has been renewed by Netflix for a third season. The announcement was made through a video that shows Alistair Petrie, the actor who plays Headmaster Michael Groff, wandering through a gallery full of portraits of the different protagonists.

For those who are not familiar with Netflix’s hit series, Sex Education follows Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), an insecure high school student whose mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson), is a renowned sexologist. In Season 1, Otis and Maeve (Emma Mackey) set up a clandestine sex therapy clinic at their high school, taking advantage of Otis’s talents to offer advice in this field. In Season 2, Otis loosens up and must channel his carnal impulses to get things moving with his girlfriend Ola (Patricia Allison), while managing a now troubled relationship with Maeve. At the same time, Moordale High School is hit by a chlamydia epidemic, which highlights the need for better sex education at school.

Ncuti Gatwa (Stonemouth), Connor SwindellsKedar Williams-Stirling (Wolfblood), Aimee Lou WoodTanya Reynolds (Delicious), Mikael Persbrandt (Beck), George Robinson ou encore Sami Outalbali (Grown Ups) are also part of the cast.
