The Witcher – Netflix
While Eskel was to be played by Thue Ersted Rasmussen (Sunday), he production has just announced that the role will now be played by Basil Eidenbenz (The Athena). his decision was made after the Danish actor was unable to make himself available for the new shooting dates. On his Instagram account, Thue Ersted Rasmussen says he is heartbroken but he is looking forward to watching season 2 as a fan. (Source)

The Simpsons – FOX
With Hank Azaria no longer voicing the character of Carl, the production was looking for a new actor to understudy Homer Simpson’s friend and colleague. They chose Alex Désert (Sing It!) for the upcoming season. (Source)

Chicago PD – NBC
Nicole Ari Parker, known for her role in Empire, will participate in the upcoming season of Chicago PD. She will play Assistant Superintendent Samantha Miller. A native of Atlanta, she is a strong advocate for police reform and will not tolerate any violations of the new guidelines. (Source)

Triage – ABC
Triage, the new medical drama being developed for ABC, has found a new headliner: Parisa Fitz-Henley (Midnight, Texas). The series will follow Finley Briar, a brilliant trauma surgeon through three decades. (Source)

The Handmaid’s Tale – Hulu
The upcoming season of The Handmaid’s Tale will feature Mckenna Grace (The Haunting of Hill House). She will play Mrs. Keyes, a very smart teenager and wife of an older commander who runs her farm and home with confidence. (Source)

Sex Education – Netflix
Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) joins the cast for Sex Education Season 3. He will play Peter, Mr. Groff’s older brother. Described as an arrogant and successful man, Peter will support his brother as he separates from his wife. Two other actors join the cast in the series: Jemima Kirke (Girls) and Dua Saleh. The first named will play Hope, the new director of Moordale and intends to make the high school a place of excellence. The second will make her debut as an actress and will play a non-binary student who is challenged by Hope’s new vision for the school. (Source)

Diamond White (Empire) ins the cast of The bold and the beautiful in an important role as she will play Paris Buckingham, Zoé’s sister and Dr. Reese Buckingham’s daughter. She will make her first appearance on October 2, 2020. (Source)
