A few days after announcing a spin-off based on the character of Neagley, Prime Video has another pleasant surprise in store for fans of the Reacher series. While Season 3 of the series, created by Nick Santora, will air in 2025, the streaming platform has revealed in a press release that Reacher will get a fourth season.
Vernon Sanders, Head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, explains the early renewal by saying that “Reacher’ has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season. We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance and CBS Studios.”
After adapting Killing Floor for Season 1 and Bad Luck and Trouble, the 11th volume of Reacher’s adventures, for Season 2, the producers have decided to bring Persuader, the 7th novel by Lee Child, to the screen for Season 3. Which book will be adapted for Reacher Season 4? No details have been released yet, but the creative team has a lot to choose from, as the Jack Reacher literary saga includes 28 novels at the time of writing.
