Fans of the live-action One Piece series can breathe a sigh of relief—the series is getting a third season on Netflix! The announcement was made during One Piece Day in Tokyo. The platform also revealed that Ian Stokes will join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner for season 3. Ian Stokes participated in the first season as co-executive producer. Filming will begin by the end of the year in Cape Town, South Africa.
In the meantime, season 2, officially titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2026. The platform unveiled a teaser offering a glimpse of what lies ahead for the Straw Hat crew. As a reminder, season 2 of One Piece will cover the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island arcs.
The main cast of the One Piece series remains unchanged, with Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji). New faces will also be joining the cast in season 2, including David Dastmalchian (Mr. 3), Katey Sagal (Dr. Kureha), Clive Russell (Crocus), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefertari Cobra), Callum Kerr (Smoker), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday / Nico Robin), and Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0).
