Prime Video just announced the release date for its new Korean romantic series, Nice to Not Meet You, starring Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game, The Acolyte) and Lim Ji-yeon (The Glory, The Tale of Lady Ok). You can watch this duo on your screens starting November 3, 2025, with new episodes airing weekly in more than 240 countries and territories.
This new K-drama follows Lim Hyeon-jun (Lee Jung-jae), a talented actor stuck playing the hero of a hit crime series, Kang Pil-gu, for several seasons. Despite being at the peak of his career, he aspires to take on more profound and emotionally demanding roles. Meanwhile, Wi Jeong-sin (Lim Ji-yeon) is a renowned political journalist who is abruptly reassigned to the entertainment section, far from the investigation she was following. She finds herself unwittingly immersed in the daily life of an actor she had no intention of covering. As Prime Video’s press release points out, “what begins as a clash of personalities unfolds into a story full of charm, laughter, and unexpected chemistry.”
The series Nice to Not Meet You is directed by Kim Ga-ram (Good Partner, Nevertheless) and written by Jung Yeo-rang (Doctor Cha). It features Kim Ji-hoon (The Haunted Palace, Bad Thief, Good Thief) and Seo Ji-hye (Kiss Six Sense, Crash Landing on You) and promises “a mix of humour, heart, and industry satire”.
