Since the end of summer, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the HBO Max reboot of Pretty Little Liars, has been adding new names to its cast. No less than 24 actors and actresses have joined the project. Let’s take a look.
8 new names in the main cast
For the main and regular characters, the production has decided to cast Zaria (Millenial Jenny), Malia Pyles (Baskets), Alex Aiono (Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.), Mallory Bechtel (Heredity), Eric Johnson (Vikings), Lea Salonga (Mulan), Sharon Leal (Supergirl) and Elena Goode (As the World Turns).
Zaria will play Faran, a calm and disciplined ballerina who longs to leave Millwood City. But “A” isn’t the only villain in Faran’s life, as the world of ballet can be very cruel. Malia Pyles will play Minnie, the youngest of the Liars. Having survived a childhood trauma, she spends much of her time in the virtual world.
Alex Aiono will play Shawn, Noa’s (Maia Reficco) boyfriend and one of the most popular jocks in high school, while Mallory Bechtel will play Karen, a high school girl who rules Millwood High. Eric Johnson will play Sheriff Beasley while Lea Salonga, Sharon Leal and Elena Goode will play the mothers of Minni, Tabby (Chandler Kinney) and Imogen (Bailee Madison).

In terms of recurring characters, we will see Carson Rowland (Sweet Magnolias), Jordan Gonzalez (The L Word: Generation Q), Ben Cook (The First Lady) Elias Kacavas, Benton Greene (Blue Bloods), Carly Pope (Arrow) and Zakiya Young (Submissions Only).
They will be joined by Cristala Carter (Dr Death), Derek Klena (The Code), Kate Jennings Grant (Notorious), Robert Stanton (Mr. Mercedes), Jennifer Ferrin (The Equalizer), Lilla Crawford (Into the Woods), Brian Altemus (Grand Army), Anthony Ordonez (Franklin & Bash) and Jeffrey Bean (Billions).
