Invincible: Amazon Prime Video releases a trailer

The animated series Invincible, based on the eponymous comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, is revealed in a trailer full of action and blood.

The series will follow 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who is like every other guy his age except his father is Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), the most powerful superhero on the planet. Like his father, he turns out to be gifted with powers, and as he begins to apprehend them, he will face many battles and betrayals.

The first three one-hour episodes of Invincible will be available on March 26, 2021. The remaining five episodes will air weekly until April 30, 2021. The cast also includes Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Zachary Quinto (Heroes), Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Mahershala Ali (True Detective) and Seth Rogen (The League).
