That’s a good news for the fans of the series Fate: The Winx Saga: the shooting of season 2 will begin in the coming days.

During the Fantom Fest: Extended Edition, a virtual event held on June 12 and 13, 2021, Freddie Thorp revealed a piece of information that will delight the fans of Fate: The Winx Saga. The actor who plays Riven announced that he will fly to Dublin this Monday, June 14, to begin shooting season 2 of the Netflix series.

The production of the 8 new episodes should last 5 months until mid-November. The season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga should not be available on the streaming platform before the beginning of 2022.

A Riven / Dane relationship in season 2?

While waiting to discover the new episodes, Freddie Thorp said that it is possible that we will explore a little more the dynamic of the duo Riven / Dane in season 2.

According to the actor, Riven doesn’t necessarily have romantic feelings for Dane, he’s just someone who likes attention and so he enjoys Dane’s (Theo Graham) affection for him.

Freddie Thorp thinks that this relationship will be explored more in season 2 and that we should see a little more of this duo. Will there be a real relationship between the two? We will have to wait on the release of the new episodes to know it.
