After signing a production agreement with the Obama couple, Netflix made, once again, the buzz. The streaming service just announced Disenchantment‘s air date, the new show of Matt Groening, the Simpson’s daddy. This new show is quite the event because the american producer didn’t came up with a new project since Futurama in 1999, almost 20 years ago.
Disenchantment will follow Bean, an alcoholic and a princess, accompanied on her adventures by Elfo the elf and Luci the demon. The 10 first episodes will be available on August 17, 2018 as confirmed by Netflix on social medias.
Last year, Matt Groening revealed that Disenchantment would adress “life and death, love and sex and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and imbeciles, despite what elders, wizards and other morons could tell you.” A promising show that, we hope, might be as good as Futurama and The Simpsons.
