Fans of the series Chesapeake Shores will be delighted: the new season will be released on August 15, 2021 on the American channel Hallmark Chanel. A date confirmed by some actors of the series on their Instagram accounts with pictures of the new poster of season 5 or images of the upcoming season.
Fans of the O’Brien family will be able to catch up with them in mid-August and enjoy their new storylines. This new season will also see the addition of a new character played by Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill, iZombie).

As a reminder, season 4 ended with Connor (Andrew Francis) getting a new job, David (Carlos Marks) proposing to Jess (Laci J. Mailey), Bree (Emilie Ullerup) moving to London for her play, Kevin (Brendan Penny) and Sarah (Jessica Sipos) still together and Abby having to make a career choice. Finally, season 4 ends with Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) and Abby (Meghan Ory) kissing.
