Charmed : discover the names of this new version’s first members

The news about Charmed‘s reboot is still dividing the audience but The CW finally chose two out of the three witches that should appear on the channel. These roles will be played by Melonie Diaz and Sarah Jeffery.

In this new version of the show, we’ll follow three sisters : Macy, Mel and Madison, who’ll discover that they have magical abilities. Melonie Diaz, that we’ve seen in The Breaks in 2017, will be playing the part of Mel Pruitt, a committed feminist who’s got the power to stop time, just like Piper (Holly Marie Combs) on the original.

Sarah Jeffery will be playing Madison, the youngest of the Pruitt sisters. Being a sorority’s member, she wants to fit in more than anything and will take fright when she discovers that she can read people’s mind. The actress of 22 years old is used to TV Show roles thanks to her part in Shades of Blue, Rogue and Wayward Pines, among others.

The shooting of Charmed‘s reboot is near and the only actress missing is the one who’ll be playing Macy, the eldest of the three sisters. She’ll be a PhD student in Quantum Physics and will have the power of telekinesis just like Prue (Shannen Doherty) and Paige (Rose McGowan). The actor who’ll be playing the part of Macy’s boyfriend is already chosen. Gavin will be playing Ser’Darius Blaine.
