Good news for pop culture fans: San Diego Comic-Con Málaga (SDCC Málaga) has just announced the dates for its 2026 edition. Following a highly successful inaugural event, the convention will return to Spain from October 1 to 4, 2026, once again at the FYCMA in Málaga.
Comics, movies, TV shows, video games, cosplay… the convention once again promises to bring together fans, creators, and industry professionals for panels, exhibitions, and immersive experiences. While no guests have been announced yet, SDCC Málaga 2026 is clearly signaling its ambition: to deliver an even richer event.
Building on the lessons learned in 2025, the team plans to expand the venue to offer a smoother and more complete experience. On the agenda: a new pavilion to expand the Exhibitor Hall, an additional auditorium to host more content, as well as dedicated areas for Artists’ Alley and Gaming Plaza. The goal is simple: to improve visitor comfort while enriching the program, without increasing the number of badges, in order to preserve the quality of the event.
As for tickets, you’ll have to wait a little longer: details about passes will be announced in the coming weeks.
As a reminder, the first edition featured many prestigious guests, including Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator), Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials), Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones), Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, Luke Evans (The Hobbit), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Natalia Dyer (Stranger Things), Pedro Alonso (Money Heist), and Taz Skylar (One Piece).
